Rumour Has It: Everton´s Dominic Calvert-Lewin sits atop Newcastle United´s extended wish-list

Newcastle United have reportedly nominated Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to the top of their extended transfer wish list.

Calvert-Lewin, 25, is entering his seventh season with Everton, marked by a pair of amazing seasons in 2019-20 and 2020-21 in which he scored 29 of his 46 Premier League goals.

He missed three months last campaign with a broken toe and was sidelined for the first two months of the season with a knee injury, scoring only one league goal since May.

Despite a lack of performance in recent months, Calvert-Lewin has already made 11 England caps for England and can be seen as a depreciating asset due to Everton’s struggles in the relegation zone.
