Real Madrid Set to Bid Farewell to Luka Modric at Season’s End

Apparently, Real plans to say goodbye to Croatian Luka Modric at the end of the season, it is noteworthy that his contract with the Merengues expires in June next year.

Modric lost his starting place in Ancelotti’s side this season, as the player remained on the bench in most matches and only played a few minutes as a substitute.

Modric appears to be suffering from a decline in his level and confidence and is struggling to secure a starting spot for Real Madrid under Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti. Modric took part in only 11 of the 23 matches played by the Royal team in all competitions.

It’s worth noting that Spanish newspaper Marca reported that the Croatian played 36 minutes against Atletico Madrid, Girona and Leipzig and is 16th on Ancelotti’s list of most used players this season.
