German Toni Kroos, a Real Madrid player, appeared after yesterday’s match against Leipzig in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Yesterday’s match ended with the Royals defeating their counterparts Leipzig to a nil goal in a match that brought them together at the Red Bull Arena in the first leg and then in the Champions League final.
In statements published by some Spanish newspapers, the German commented on the return of Belgian goalkeeper Courtois, saying: “I don’t know. “I can’t predict when the goalkeeper will return.”
He added: “From what I have seen, Eder Militao is on the right track and we could see him ready to play this season.”
Toni Kroos thanks God that he was not injured
The German spoke about the injuries at the Royal Club, saying: “I thank God that I am not one of the injured at the moment. “It’s been talked about a lot this year, and these are really long-term injuries.”
Kroos concluded: “We have to decide who wins the Spanish title this season and if we fail to do that it will be our fault.”
