It’s been a really great season for Erling Haaland, especially given his age and the fact that this is his first season in the Premier League. The Norwegian striker set a new league record in a 38-game season with 36 goals and three more games to go, surpassing Mohamed Salah’s 2017/18 season when the Egyptian stopped at 32.
In addition to being a terrific striker with a passion for playing for the same club as his father, the 22-year-old has proven time and time again that he is also a very decent person.
This boy will obviously remember Goodison’s victory for the rest of his life.
