French football club Nantes announced on Wednesday the activation of a clause for the purchase of Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed from Turkey’s Galatasaray.
“The club has activated a buy option in Mustafa Mohamed’s contract after he played one season on loan with us,” Nantes said in a statement.

“Mostafa Mohamed will be under contract with Nantes until 2027, starting in July 2023,” the statement said.
And he continued: “Mustafa Mohamed is a strong striker, he showed excellent and outstanding efforts in front of the opponents’ goal, and he showed himself impressively in his first season in the French league.”
And he added: “Mostafa Mohamed was the team’s top scorer in the French league (8 goals and 3 assists), and he also became the star of the European Championships, scoring two goals and giving two assists.”
Nantes said in a statement: “The Egyptian player has made 25 international appearances and scored 6 goals for the Egyptian national team. He is highly regarded by the Nantes fans and he will continue to delight the fans in the future.”
