French star Ousmane Dembele of Paris Saint-Germain has shocked Barcelona by leaving in a 2023 summer transfer.
Dembele moved to Paris Saint-Germain from the Catalan club in the summer of 2023 for 5 years for 50.4 million euros.

Ousmane Dembele spoke about the reason for his departure to Paris Saint-Germain: “I spoke with the coach and president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. They told me about the project and I was happy to play in France again.

According to newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Dembele ignored Barcelona when asked about his development as a player and said the French national team was where he learned the most and developed as a footballer.
The newspaper emphasized that the French player forgot the support he received during his six years at Barça, and also forgot the support given to him by team coach Javi Hernández during the most difficult times.
