Chelsea ‘in contact with Massimiliano Allegri as Frank Lampard replacement’

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich determines former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri as a perfect replacement for Frank Lampard, according to a report.

Chelsea are apparently considering up former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri as Frank Lampard‘s follower in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

Lampard’s stint at Chelsea has seen his side ship 63 goals in 43 matches under the former Blues midfielder, with the capital outfit boasting just 2 wins from 5 Premier League trips in the 2020-21 season.

The Blues started their Champions League campaign with a dull 0-0 draw against Sevilla on Tuesday night, and the Chelsea hierarchy are stated to be making preparations for life without Lampard in the near future.

According to Italian outlet Quotidano Sportivo, Roman Abramovich has personally allocated Allegri as his first- option replacement for Lampard, and the Chelsea owner has no time at all for commitments if he thinks that Lampard is not taking the club in the right instructions.

Allegri has run out management since he stepped down as Juve boss at the end of the 2018-19 season, where he assisted the Old woman to 5 straight Serie A crowns in between 2015 and 2019.

Chelsea now face a crunch match against Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend prior to continuing their European venture against FC Krasnodar next Wednesday.
