Arsenal will step up their efforts to sign Ben White from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, according to L’Espresso. It was repeated that the Gunners want to close the deal as soon as possible to bring the England defender to Emirates Stadium.
White himself wants his future to be resolved as soon as possible. Arsenal have offered Brighton £ 45m for the 23-year-old, who can also play as a right-back or midfield. The Seagulls are holding out for 45 million pounds. The Gunners plan to add performance-related bonuses and add-ons to close a deal.
He played the former Leeds United loan 36 times in the Premier League for Brighton last season. White also made two FA Cup appearances for the Seagulls. The young man was part of the English squad for the European Championship
