The Milan team suffered a spectacular 2-0 loss to their humble hosts La Spezia in a match that brought them together tonight, Saturday, in the 35th round of the Italian Football League.
The hosts’ brace was signed by Polish defender Primislav Wisniewski and Italian midfielder Salvatore Esposito in the 75th and 85th minutes, respectively.
Milan’s balance sheet stands at 61 points and is fifth in the league standings outside the UEFA Champions League football region.
While La Spezia achieved their first victory after three defeats in a row, raising their score to 30 points and advancing to seventeenth place in the Calcio rankings to get out of the shadow of relegation for the time being.
