Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is on the verge of joining AC Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Alfredo Pedulla. The well-known and respected Italian journalist said Bakayoko is set to return to Milan in Serie A with a seasonal loan.
Bakayoko spent the 2018-19 season on loan to AC Milan from Chelsea. The 27-year-old scored a goal and gave an assist in 26 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri that season. The midfielder also played six times in the Europa League during his loan spell at Milan.
AC Milan finished in the top four of Serie A last season and will play in the Champions League this season. Former Italian and European champions will be thrilled to take on the Scudetto this season, and the addition of France’s international midfielder Bakayoko would make them better in the middle of the park.
