The technical staff of the first football team of the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nasr, led by the Portuguese Luis Castro, refused to give the team players who were absent at the Al-Faiha match rest in preparation for the Al-Nasr club for the Asian match.

Al Zaeem will be the guest of Al Fayha tonight at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd City Stadium in Al Malaz in the first leg of the round of 16 of the 2023-2024 AFC Champions League.

It is worth noting that Al Zaim qualified for the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League after leading Group E with 14 points from 6 matches, while Al Fayha qualified as runners-up in Group A with 9 points.

Castro decided to use a foreign quintet (Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, Aymeric Laporte, Anderson Talisca) and also use Australian Aziz Behich for Al Nasr in the Al Fayha match.

The Al-Zaim club’s media center published photographs of the training sessions of the excluded Al-Faiha, led by Senegalese star Sadio Mane, whom Castro decided not to include in the Al-Nasr foreigners’ list for the 16-final match.

Under the slogan “No stop…no rest”, the players in yellow jerseys who were absent from the Al-Faiha match continued training at the club’s headquarters.
