    Zidane emerges as top contender for Saudi Arabia’s presidential race among four candidates

    French legend Zinedine Zidane, former coach of Real Madrid, has entered the list of candidates for the post of coach of the Saudi Arabia national team, replacing his compatriot Herve Renard in this post.

    Yesterday, on Tuesday, the Saudi Arabian Football Association announced Renard’s departure from Al Akhdar training and the inability to complete the remaining period of his contract to take on the task of coaching his country’s women’s national team.
    According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh, there are 4 candidates for the presidency of Saudi Arabia in the coming period with the possibility of adding new names to the list of nominations.

    The newspaper added that Zidane is at the top of these names, as well as the Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the current Turkish coach of Fenerbahce, as well as Saudi Al-Hilal and former Benfica.

    The Italian Roberto Mancini also got into the nomination, despite his contract with the Italian national team.

    The fourth name is Saad Al-Shehri, the coach of the Saudi Arabian Olympic team.
