He continued, “He is number 1 for me. You always learn from him, I don’t want to compare myself to him because his career is amazing and I am just getting started. I hope that someday I will have the same numbers as Pep, but not for me, but for the club.
“We are happy to win La Liga, we have to keep working. We want to win as many matches as possible.”
When asked about whether he is negotiating a contract extension or not, he commented: “I am happy, I talk a lot with the president, Matteo and Jordi and we have that confidence. Now we have to focus on winning La Liga because we have to win it and then we will talk about renewing my contract.”
