Manchester City and Liverpool are interested in signing Levi Colville from Chelsea this summer. Evening standard.
The two clubs appear to be looking to take advantage of Chelsea’s potential FFP troubles, which will likely force the Blues to shed some of their young talent in order to add a home-grown player to their ranks. Both are expected to be in the defensive reinforcements market.
The 20-year-old centre-back, who can also replace left-back and is widely regarded as a future England star, spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Huddersfield. Thinking he’s poised to earn some Premier League experience, he joined Brighton & Hove Albion this season and he’s impressed with Amex, making a total of 15 appearances in an exciting campaign for the Seagulls.
His Chelsea contract will run for two more years at the end of the season.
