Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of the Saudi football club Al-Nasr, has topped the list of the highest paid celebrities and influencers on the famous Instagram platform.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, has become the only person in the world to have more than half a billion followers on the Instagram platform, with more than 597 million followers on his account.
Cristiano Ronaldo has surpassed businesswoman and American reality TV star Kylie Jenner to become the highest-paid celebrity on Instagram.
And Ronaldo earns £1.87 million for every paid ad he posts through his Instagram account.
According to website Hopper HQ, which specializes in the subject, the Portuguese star has surpassed Kylie Jenner, who earns £1.47 million for every funded post.
Ronaldo often promotes through his account some of the brands he contracts with, such as sports website LiveScore, health brand Therabody, and cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
And he ranks third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylie Jenner, Argentine star Lionel Messi, striker for the American team Inter Miami with £1.38 million for a funded publication, knowing that his number of subscribers reaches 479 million users.
American singer Selena Gomez is in fourth place with £1.35 million for funded publishing, followed by fellow actor Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock” in fifth place with £1.33 million.
