West Ham initiates discussions with Sevilla regarding En-Nesiri

West Ham United have opened talks with Sevilla over the possibility of signing striker Youssef En-Nesiri, according to Sky Sports. Negotiations are at an early stage, and the Molotovs have not yet received a concrete proposal for Sevilla that could be considered.

After rising through the ranks and reaching the senior level at Málaga, En-Nesiri spent two years at Leganes before signing for €20m with Sevilla in 2020. He has since made 158 appearances for his current club in all competitions, scoring 55 goals and providing five assists. The contract of the 26-year-old Moroccan international with Sevilla runs until the summer of 2025.

Meanwhile, Mikhail Antonio has been linked to leaving West Ham, which explains the Hammers’ desire to add new strikers to their ranks. The 33-year-old allegedly has offers from Saudi Arabia and is believed to be exploring his options at the moment.

On Sunday, Antonio once again proved himself as an important part of David Moyes’ team, scoring a goal in a 3-1 win over Chelsea.
