Salah said in statements broadcast by the Liverpool Echo network in response to the Reds’ failure to secure any title this season short of the Charity Shield Cup: “It will make us hungrier next season.”
He added: “It’s hard to get out of the game in all competitions, but this is football and we have to accept that.”
He continued: “We need to get back to the best level next season, this is the perfect way to make up for that.”
And about his brilliance in big fights, he said: “I don’t know, I just prepare well because these matches are in the spotlight of the whole world.”
And he continued: “I suffered for two seasons against Manchester United after moving to Liverpool. They used to say that you can’t score against us, and it came to sarcasm.”
And he concluded: “Now Arnold and Robertson remind me of this, and they tell me that you will play against Canselu in the next confrontation, what will he do to you? It’s always like this between us.”
