    Ure scores three, Union remain winless, Inter Miami’s losing streak continues

    Mikael Uhre scored a hat-trick as the Philadelphia Union snapped their five-game MLS winless streak with a 4-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.

    Union quickly took the lead after an own goal by Lucas McNaughton in the 16th minute before Danish international Ure scored a double before half-time.

    Ure added a third in the 56th minute, ending his hat-trick with Julian Carranza’s low shot over the net to end the struggle.

    Toronto pulled one back over Italy’s Lorenzo Insigne in the 66th minute before Richie Larriea consoled him in stoppage time.

    New England solidified their lead in the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 home win over Sporting CP in last place overall.

    Giacomo Vrioni scored a brace in the first half for the Revs, but Sporting pulled one back in the 50th minute from Johnny Russell, only to be reduced to 10 when Andreu Fontas was sent off 10 minutes later.

    The Revs lead second-placed Cincinnati on goal difference, and Cinsi beat the Portland Timbers 2-1 after strikes from Sergio Santos and Brandon Vasquez.

    New York City moved up to fourth in the East after a 3-1 home win over Dallas, triggered by a brace from Santiago Rodriguez.

    Western Conference leaders St. Louis City were denied a win after Michael Barrios equalized in the 90th minute as they drew 1-1 at Colorado Rapids.

    Louis remains the leader in the West, but only on goal difference with the Seattle Sounders, who doomed Minnesota United to three straight defeats in a 1-0 win.

    Denis Buanga scored his seventh goal of the MLS season as LAFC drew 1-1 in Nashville while LA Galaxy recorded their winless start to the campaign with a 2-0 home win over Austin.

    Inter Miami’s losing streak extended to six in a row, adding to the pressure on boss Phil Neville as they lost 1-0 at the Houston Dynamo.

    Real Salt Lake beat San Jose Earthquakes 3-1, Charlotte beat Columbus Crew 1-0, Montreal beat New York Red Bulls 2-0, and Christian Benteke scored as DC United beat Orlando City 3-1.
