Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that his young Turkish player Arda Guler suffered an injury ahead of last Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Sporting Braga in the Champions League.
Real Madrid fans are still waiting for the first appearance of the talent Arda Guler, who joined the royal team during the Merkato last summer from Turkish Fenerbahce.
Since arriving in Madrid, 18-year-old Arda has yet to feature in a match in a Merengue shirt due to injuries.
Güler suffered numerous injuries since pre-season before being included for the first time in early November this year for Real Madrid’s last two matches.
As Real Madrid prepares to face Valencia tomorrow, Saturday, in the 13th round of the Spanish league, the newspaper AS reported shocking news to fans of the royal team.
The Madrid newspaper reported that the Turkish player suffered a new setback due to which he missed the team’s training session today.
At the same time, AS indicated that Güler was in the gym training alone away from the group, meaning he will be absent from tomorrow’s match, which will delay his first appearance with the team until further notice.
Carlo Ancelotti commented on the news that the Turkish player had suffered a new setback at a press conference on Friday afternoon, ahead of the match against Valencia.
Ancelotti said: “Yes, he was injured before the match against Sporting Braga. He is sad, but it is not serious.”
He added: “He has no setback, just a minor injury and we have a national team break to get him ready again.”
