Transfers News: Will Cristiano Ronaldo join Al-Nassr?

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on a free transfer in the January transfer window, according to Brand. The report in the Spanish news said Portugal International would sign a contract that could be worth €200m (£173m) per season.

Ronaldo is a free agent at the moment after his Manchester United contract was terminated by mutual consent. This followed an explosive interview by the former Juventus and Real Madrid star in which he criticized United manager Erik ten Hag and the club’s owners.

Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time and it is interesting that he is heading to Saudi Arabia. It would have made sense for the Portuguese superstar to stay in Europe for at least the rest of the season, as he is still quite good.
