West Ham United are interested in signing Premier League’s Michael Keane rivals Everton in January transfer window in second 90 minutes. The report said the Hammers could make a move for the England defender mid-season, but that would depend on whether or not Craig Dawson wants to leave. Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa wanted to sign Dawson in the summer of 2022, but the Hammers decided to keep him after failing to get Jan Bednarek.
Keane has been on Everton’s books since 2017, but the former Manchester United and Burnley defender is currently struggling to play at the Toffees. The 29-year-old has only played as a substitute in the Premier League and has played twice in the Carabao Cup for Frank Lampard’s side so far this season.
West Ham are currently 16th in the Premier League table with 14 points from 15 games, just one point above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Everton currently sit 17th in the table with 14 points from 15 games.
