Valencia are interested in signing Umar Sadiq from Almeria in the January transfer window, second El Gol Digital. It is reported that Los Che were impressed with the former Rangers loan and are eager to take it to Mestalla Stadium.

Almeria does not want to sell it, as Sadiq is a key player in their quest to get promotion to La Liga at the end of the season. Furthermore, the 24-year-old striker has a € 30m release clause, too much for Valencia to pay at the moment.

Sadiq scored four goals in six Segunda Division games with Almeria so far this season. The striker also scored two goals in two substitute appearances in Copa del Rey. Valencia are currently fourth in the La Liga standings with 10 points from six games.
