Tottenham Hotspur are planning to bid for Southampton striker Danny Ings, second Eurosport. It is reported that the former Liverpool forward wants to leave Southampton in the summer transfer window. The Saints value the England international striker 20 million pounds, but the Spurs opening offer for him will be less than that.
Ings joined Southampton on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2018 and the deal was made permanent in the summer of 2019. The 28-year-old striker scored 12 goals and gave four assists in 29 Premier League appearances last season. During the 2019-20 season, the striker scored 22 goals and gave two assists in 38 league games, while in 2018-19 he found the bottom of the net seven times and provided three assists in the league.
With Carlos Vinicius returning to his parents’ club Benfica after a loan spell at Spurs last season, there is room in the North London club’s squad for a reserve forward for Harry Kane.
