Shakhtar Donetsk expect to get at least €100m for the services of Mykhaylo Mudryk, as reported by The Athletic journalist Adam Crafton.
The 21-year-old winger, who prefers to attack from the left wing but is perfectly capable of doing a good job on the right as well, would be of interest to several top clubs; the likes of Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle and Manchester City are all keeping a close eye on the situation.
Shakhtar director of football Darijo Srna believes Mudryk shouldn’t be cheaper than players like Antony or Jack Grealish and says it’s actually the market that sets the price, not him.
“The market decides the price, not me” Srna said. “Antony, Grealish have more than 100 million euros and Mudryk has no less quality.”
Mudryk was promoted to Shakhtar’s senior squad in summer 2021 and has since scored 10 goals and produced 17 assists in 42 appearances in all competitions for the Ukrainian club.
