Andre Onana will leave Ajax when his contract expires at the end of the season – according to Fabrizio Romano there will be no extension. Club director Marc Overmars says it is no longer talked about: they tried, but they moved on. As things stand at the moment, the 25-year-old goalkeeper is likely to arrive at Inter as a free agent. The Serie A champions are pushing to make it happen.
André Onana will NOT extend his contract with Ajax. Inter are very close to hiring him as a free agent for June 2022. #Inter

The Cameroonian himself recently stated that he is willing to stay at Ajax next summer just a couple of days ago, but it appears that the reported negotiations have been broken off. He also revealed that he was close to moving to OGC Nice and Olympique Lyon at different times during this year’s summer window, but neither of the two Ligue 1 clubs managed to reach a deal with Ajax.
Onana has 83 goalless goals in 205 appearances with the Eredivisie champions in all competitions, and is still disqualified for doping due to expire in early November.
