According to a recent AS report, former Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes the club will struggle to afford a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Throughout world football there are many world class players who have earned the right to be up there in the upper echelons as “elite” level footballers. Now, we think it’s safe to say that Erling Haaland is part of that conversation.
The Borussia Dortmund striker has been one of the game’s most impressive scorers for a few years now and it finally looks like a parade from top European clubs is ready to bet on him. We’ve already heard of the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City who are all interested, but Bayern aim to try and keep it as a Bundesliga commodity.
However, if this report is to be believed, it may not be enough.
