According to a recent report from El Nacional, Manchester City are considering a possible move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric next summer.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star has spent the past few years carving a real legacy as one of the best midfielders of his generation, with 2018 being a prime example of what he can do for both the club and the country.
City will know and understand that Modric probably only has a few years left at the elite level. Unfortunately, while it generally doesn’t seem to be the way Pep Guardiola has walked, it seems like his heart is determined to make it happen, or at least to try.
City passed away in many departments during the last summer transfer window and if they want to take a different kind of dip next year, this could just be the move to do so.
