Manchester City are close to signing Jack Grealish from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. It is reported that the 25-year-old attacking midfielder will undergo medical examinations on Thursday at the City before a £ 100m transfer proposal.
City, which won the Premier League title last season, made a £ 100m offer for Grealish at Villa on Friday. The Villans accepted the offer and allowed the England international to leave for the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish done 24 starts and two Premier League substitute appearances for Villa last season, scoring six goals and providing 10 assists in the process. The 25-year-old scored eight goals and provided six assists in 36 Premier League games for the Villans in 2019-20.
