Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Ajax defender Jurrien Timber, second 90 minutes. Premier League and London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham are reported to be keeping an eye on the 20-year-old Dutch national defender.
It is reported that Tottenham and Chelsea have been following Timber for nearly two years. Scouts of Spurs and Chelsea have posted excellent reports on the Dutch international, who came through Ajax’s youth system and established himself in the first team.
Timber made 16 appearances and four substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax last season, scoring a goal in the process. The defender has played four times in the league and once in the Champions League so far this season.
