Arsenal, Everton and Villarreal are interested in signing Neto from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, second Sport. Spanish club Villarreal asked about the Brazilian national team goalkeeper, whose agents are handling the interests of the Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton.
Barcelona are willing to sell Neto on the summer market for 15 million euros. Villarreal are unable to shell out that much money for the 32-year-old goalkeeper and want a loan or exchange of players. Neto is available to join the Yellow Submarine because he likes the club project.
Everton signed Asmir Begovic this summer. The former Chelsea goalkeeper will compete with Jordan Pickford for a spot in the starting lineup. It’s hard to see why the Toffees would like to sign another goalkeeper now. Arsenal may need another goalkeeper, as Bernd Leno has no real competition for his place in Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.
