Mohamed Salah signed a new three-year deal with Liverpool last summer, thus becoming the highest paid player in the club’s history, but so-called reports from outside England of his alleged idea to leave Anfield continue to emerge. In fact, they have been around ever since he started scoring for fun in 2017/18, his first season at Merseyside.
Rami Abbas Issa, who represents the Egyptian striker, has intervened more than once to dispel such rumors this season, and he did so again this weekend after learning of claims that Salah is open to leaving Liverpool and prefers Spain as his destination. . The 30-year-old has been linked to both Real Madrid and Barcelona in the past.
Issa says no move from Liverpool was discussed between him and his client, and he presses the journalist to reveal the source of his “exclusive” statement, hastily repeated across Europe.
Needless to say, the call went unanswered and for now, Salah doesn’t seem to be going anywhere this summer.
Where did you get this from, even if Mohamed and I didn’t discuss it? Please tell us. https://t.co/1I1RUtGJej
