Tottenham Hotspur have announced the resignation of their Italian sporting director, Fabio Paratici, from his position at the London club following the rejection of FIFA’s appeal against his suspension.

And FIFA announced a worldwide suspension of Paratici amid a fine imposed on him, stopping him for 30 months due to a financial wrongdoing case of his former club Juventus, for which 15 points were deducted from the Italian club, before again return the glasses to the old woman.

The Italian Olympic Committee, Italy’s highest sports body, has rejected Fabio’s appeal against a two-and-a-half-year ban.

Tottenham said in a statement: “FIFA has decided to extend the ban worldwide and while there is still controversy over the scope and extent of the ban, the current ban prevents Fabio from fulfilling his duties as CEO of Football.” Accordingly, Fabio made the decision to resign. The club will immediately focus on his legal position in relation to the provisions of the International Federation of Football Associations and FIFA.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy commented on the decision to step down and said: “It has been a difficult time for Fabio and his family. We wanted to make sure we allowed due process. Fabio is a man who lives and breathes football. We wish him all the best.” .”

And he will take over as London club’s new sporting director Scott Moon to replace the Italian in his post, with another new sporting director appointed soon.
