Argentine legend Lionel Messi received the World Player of the Year award after winning the 2022 World Cup title in Qatar.
Felix, brother of Real Madrid player Toni Kroos, spoke about Leo receiving the World’s Best award and his outrage.

“The best player in the World Cup may be Lionel, but there is still a year ahead,” Kroos’ brother Felix said in a press statement today.
He continued, “Also, it was a joke to me that the Argentine goalkeeper is the best goalkeeper! No one knew him before the World Cup, and he only received this award for winning the World Cup.”
“I don’t think he did his best as a goalkeeper during this tournament, he only made one or two saves and only in the final.”
Felix concluded: “But he didn’t play at the level that the best goalkeeper in the world deserves. The truth was a joke to me.”
