Toni Kroos blames Hazard’s negligence and rejects empathy towards him

After Eden Hazard failed to live up to the expectations of Real Madrid fans since his move from Chelsea in June 2019, the record deal cost the Royal Club treasury 130 million euros.

Spanish newspaper Deportivo reported that Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos sent an important and sharply worded message to teammate Eden Hazard.

And a Spanish newspaper reported that Kroos said: “Hazard is certainly in a difficult position, but I don’t feel sorry for him. Pity is out of place in the world of football.”

Kroos added: “I don’t think Hazard is living a bad life. You can feel sorry for people who are going through much worse times than he did. It’s not about the money, but I don’t feel sorry for anyone in football.”

The player added: “Hazard’s situation is complex and it’s been a long time for him too, but in the end everyone is partially responsible for his situation.”

And he finished his speech: “I know Azar well, we are often together, but I only feel sorry for people who have hard times, and Eden is not one of them.”
