Spanish press reports have revealed that Barcelona are looking to sign the former Real Madrid star during the upcoming summer transfer period.
The Catalan club aims to ensure its competition at tournament level and aim for the best, including outstanding names to strengthen the team’s ranks.
The former Real Madrid star has come under the radar of Barcelona.
And Spanish newspaper AS reported that Barcelona are interested in signing Japanese player Taki Kubo, former Real Madrid player and current Real Sociedad.
It is worth noting that on June 14, 2019, Kubo signed a five-year contract with the Spanish club Real Madrid and regularly played with the main team during the pre-season tour.
On 22 August 2019, the young player left Real Madrid and joined Real Mallorca on a one-season loan and is reported to be the third Japanese player in Mallorca’s history.
And Al-Ace has confirmed that Barcelona are currently preparing an offer for Kubo Sahib (21) to make him official, solidify his midfield position and complete the deal next summer.
The newspaper pointed out that the Catalan club is the biggest winner of this deal as Real Madrid are expected to be out of the race, meaning the case is over for Barcelona if Real Sociedad approves.
