Team News: Southampton without Jack Stephens, Moussa Djenepo for Watford clash


Jack Stephens and Moussa Djeneop are suspended for the Saints.

Watford have no fresh injury issues for the clash with Southampton however boss Nigel Pearson will check out his squad.

The Hornets stay without Daryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu (both knee) and Isaac Success (ankle) stay missing for the crucial clash against the Saints.

Pearson saw his side lose 1-0 at Burnley on Thursday and will examine his players to see whether they got any knocks.

Jack Stephens and Moussa Djenepo will be suspended for Southampton.

Stephens got a straight red card for reducing Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang towards completion of the 2-0 loss to Arsenal, while Djenepo finishes a 3-match restriction for his March sending against Newcastle.

Sofiane Boufal exposed he missed out on the Gunners clash with a thigh grievance, while manager Ralph Hasenhuttl recommended Alex McCarthy will stay in goal regardless of a night to forget on Thursday.
