AC Milan are close to renewing the contract of Portuguese star Rafael Liao to stay with the team for a few more seasons and keep him out of offers from big teams.
Liao continues to work with Milan.

According to Moreto: The club has reached a verbal agreement to extend the contract of Rafael Leão, under which he will receive a salary of 5 million per year, and the team will pay the full fine of Sporting Lisbon (19 million).
Liao survival conditions
The parties will make additional contacts in order to fully close the agreement, among the important details is that Liao’s agents want to make sure the Rossoneri are in the Champions League next season in order to influence the club’s future and plan financially.
Liao has made 37 appearances with the team this season, scoring 11 goals and scoring 8 goals.
The Italian club hopes that the player’s contract extension will expire soon, as the Portuguese is considered the star of the first bracket in Milan and the leader of the team in the next stage.
