According to Luciano Spalletti, Victor Osimhen will be “100 per cent” ready for Napoli’s Champions League decider against Milan next week.
The striker missed his side’s quarter-final defeat in Wednesday’s first leg as the Parthenopei lost 1-0 at the San Siro thanks to a first-half finish by Ismael Bennacer.
Osimhen leads Serie A with 21 goals this season and has become an integral part of the club’s undisputed lead in the Scudetto race.
But after missing this week’s game with a groin injury, Spalletti assured he would play in their home game next week against the Rossoneri.
“Viktor Osimhen will be 100 percent ready for the second leg at the Diego Armando Stadium in Maradona on Tuesday,” he said. – He’ll be there.
Spalletti will also have to rethink his plans in light of the sacking of Andre-Franc Zambo Anguissa, as the midfielder was sent off after a second yellow card for pushing Theo Hernandez.

The Cameroon international will be suspended, as will defender Kim Min-jae due to a late warning, but the manager is hopeful his team will adapt to the loss.
“Any absence hurts at this stage of the season, but we also have players who can replace them, so we are where we are,” he added to Sky Sport Italia.
“We trust the team. We are sad that we do not have Angissa because it is not fair that he is not there, but there is nothing we can do. I don’t comment on the referee, that’s not my role.”
Napoli will return to Serie A this weekend against Verona and then take on AC Milan. The Parthenopeans are already enjoying their deepest ever performance at Europe’s premier competition.
