Victor Osimhen has no plans to leave Napoli anytime soon, his spokesman Roberto Calenda told Radio Kiss Kiss.
The 23-year-old has played a big role in Napoli’s rise under Luciano Spalletti, taking over the front line after the departures of perennial stars Arkadiusz Milik and Lorenzo Insigne. He missed a total of six games due to injury and has played twice since returning to action, scoring goals on both occasions. In total, he has four goals and one assist in eight games in all competitions.
“According to Kalenda, many clubs are interested in Viktor, but he wants to stay. “He is very happy with the Napoli project.
The agent also added that the rumors that linked his client to Manchester United in some form of exchange involving Cristiano Ronaldo had been duly reviewed and debunked.
– This summer, after strange rumors, we were very frank. He wanted to stay.”
The current contract linking the Nigerian international to Napoli is just under three years.
