According to Viktor Osimkhen’s teammate, Khvich Kvaratskhelia is “just starting out” and “possesses the qualities to make Napoli dream this season.”
Kvaratskhelia, who signed from Dynamo Batumi in July, played a major role in partenopeya’s fast start to the season.
The Georgia international scored seven goals and provided eight assists in all competitions as Luciano Spalletti’s side raced to the top of Serie A and also qualified for the Champions League playoffs with two games to go.
The 21-year-old registered his eighth straight goal of the Serie A campaign, replacing Osimhen for the winner as Napoli defeated Bologna 3-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday.
“I am very happy for him, he deserves everything he gets now,” Osimkhen told DAZN about Kvaratskhelia. “He’s just getting started, you guys haven’t seen anything yet.
“I think he has the qualities to make us dream this season, he is very confident and we are here to support him. You see that it was decisive for us.”

Osimhen also hailed the “solidarity” of the Serie A leaders as they recorded their 10th consecutive win in all competitions.
“This is what we call team spirit,” he added. “We started well; Bologna are a good team, but we needed those points.
“Big thanks to the coach for talking in the second half; he gave us the zeal to go out to this game. I am happy with this victory. I like the unity in this team, and that’s the most important thing at this level.”
