Serie-A News: According to Allegri, Juventus must take “step by step” to revive the fortune.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri says his team must move “step by step” after breaking a month-long losing streak against Bologna on Sunday.

The Bianconeri beat the winners 3-0 at the Allianz Stadium, taking their first win in all competitions since the end of August thanks to goals from Filip Kostic, Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik.

The result put a stop to Juventus’ slide into the middle of the Serie A table, although they are still four points behind the top four and seven behind leaders Napoli at the start of the season.

The complexity of the task ahead of Juventus has not gone unnoticed by Allegri, who says his team need not get ahead of themselves in the coming weeks.

“We need to take it step by step and hopefully we can close the gap,” he told DAZN. “We shut it down last season so [we know] we can do it again.

“We needed patience and focus to build performance and get results. I almost felt like we couldn’t believe it when we got back to the locker room.
