Barcelona striker Sergi Roberto has signed a new one-year contract with La Liga leaders.
The versatile 31-year-old signed a 12-month deal with Barça last June, linked to a move.
And Sergi Roberto will remain with the Catalan giants for at least one more season after the club confirmed on Friday that he had agreed new terms for a stay until June 2024.
The buyout clause for longtime Sergi Roberto remains at €400m.
He was named one of Xavi’s first team captains when he renewed his contract last year and has made 14 league appearances this season.
Sergi Roberto made his debut for Barcelona in 2010 and made 339 appearances for the club.
A recent victory over Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup has increased his incredible number of trophies to 24 for the Blaugrana.
