Saudi Arabia coach Al-Nasr wonders about Ronaldo’s future and determines his next destination

Frenchman Rudy Garcia, manager of Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia, has expressed doubts about the continuation of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Alami until the end of his contract.

Al-Nasr signed a contract with Ronaldo at the current winter Mercato for a period of two and a half seasons, until the summer of 2025.

Ronaldo will turn 41 at the end of his contract with Al Nasr, but Garcia has confirmed that the Portuguese star will not retire with his current team.

The French coach said in a statement released to Italian website Calciomercato: “Cristiano will not retire with Al-Nasr. He will return to Europe at the end of his career to finish his career there.”

The Italian site pointed out that Garcia’s words supported the spread of news about a clause in Ronaldo’s contract with al-Nasr allowing the Madeira Rocket to return to Europe next season.

And the Spanish newspaper Marca previously reported that Ronaldo had agreed after signing a contract with Al-Nasr to move to the ranks of the Saudi-owned Newcastle United next season if McBase could reserve a qualifying position for the Champions League.

Notably, Ronaldo is the top scorer in the European Champions League with 140 goals, but he is in danger of losing the lead to his Argentine rival Lionel Messi, who has 129 goals in continental competition this season with his team. Paris Saint Germain.
