According to a recent report by Marca, Karim Benzema may have a plan that would see him head to Saudi Arabia.
While he may have been at the club since 2009, the last few years have really seen Benzema get his flowers. The Frenchman has received recognition and praise for everything he has given to the game, mostly at Real Madrid.
However, according to this report, the 35-year-old plans to spend one final season with the Spanish giants before leaving.
In doing so, he will head to Saudi Arabia, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, who is currently making insane amounts of money playing there.
The ethical side of playing in Saudi Arabia is something that is widely questioned in the football community. Alas, while MLS could also be a viable move for Benzema if he wants to go down that path, we can only imagine the amount he will be offered.
