Liverpool club celebrated Egypt’s Mohammed Salah’s victory after scoring the Reds’ goal in a 1-0 win over Fulham on Wednesday in the rescheduled English Premier League matchday 28 match.

The Liverpool Club wrote via their official Twitter account: “Mohamed Salah has scored in 8 games in a row at (our stadium) Anfield…the third player in our team’s history to reach that number.”

Liverpool ended their post by calling Salah the “King of Egypt”.

For its part, Opta, a global football statistics and numbers network, said: “Mohamed Salah has scored in each of his last eight home matches in all competitions (9 goals) and is the longest hitting streak for a Reds player in Anfield, starting with Luis Suarez.
