The list includes the Manchester City duo, leader of the tournament and closest to the crown, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur striker, Marcus Rashford, Manchester United star and Newcastle United full-back Kieran Trippier, while Salah was completely out of the picture.
Liverpool fans and Salah’s supporters felt the expulsion of the Egyptian star was unfair given his performance this season.
Salah is fourth in the English Premier League scorers with 19 goals.
The Egyptian star has also provided 10 assists to his teammates, meaning he has contributed to 29 of Liverpool’s 70 goals in the current edition of the English Premier League.
On the other hand, the contenders for this season’s Premier League Player of the Year award include the likes of Saka and Rashford, both of whom play in the centre-back that makes Salah shine with Liverpool, and Al-Masri digitally. outperforms the English duo in goals and scoring.
