Paris Saint-Germain have revealed the reason for the absence of their Brazilian star Neymar at the team’s group training on the eve of the start of the French Football League competition.
Paris Saint-Germain said in a statement posted on its website ahead of the match against Lorient scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the first round of the French League: “Neymar Jr is recovering from a viral syndrome.”

He added that the Brazilian star is training in the team’s gym.
Paris Saint-Germain is facing uncertainty over Neymar’s future and news has recently circulated widely indicating that the 31-year-old Brazilian has told Parisian team management this week that he wants to leave.
Reports indicate that Neymar’s expected favorite destination is to return to Barcelona.
