Ronaldo Honored with New Award in Saudi Arabia


On Tuesday, Al Nasr FC captain, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, was named the Saudi Roshan Football League’s best player for September.

Ronaldo competed with Moroccan Mourad Batna, a professional in the ranks of Al Fateh, over the past month both players played 4 matches, each of which scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists.

This is the second award in a row for Ronaldo, who previously won it in August last year.

Ittihad Jeddah’s Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe retained his best goalkeeper award after conceding just four goals in four matches last month, while Al Nasr’s Portuguese coach Luis Castro won the best coach award after his team scored a full result last month.
