Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti’s men have come to the end of a lean period that lasted 9 years, especially after their last competitive title in 2014.
Real Madrid have won their 20th Copa del Rey title, compensating their fans for failing to retain the Spanish league title, which is close to rivals Barcelona.
Real Madrid have an opportunity to retain the title in the Champions League, where they will face Manchester City in the semi-finals.
