FC Barcelona bosses are seeking a contract extension for French star Osman Dembele following the departures of Sergei Busquets and Judy Alba at the end of the current season.
The Catalan club has officially announced the departure of team leaders Busquets and Alba in the summer of 2023, as Barcelona midfield legend Sergei Busquets’ contract expires next June and Jordi Alba’s contract expires in the summer of 2024.
Barça are seeking an extension of Dembele’s contract until early July next year, as the Frenchman’s contract expires in the summer of 2024, but there is a clause in his contract with the club that provides for the player’s right to leave the team for 50 million euros. and that is what worries the leadership of the Catalan club.
